Chat Audit Log#

The Chat Audit Log screen displays the message history of Chats for all Users of the Account.

11."Ratings" columnThe rating of the message, if provided.
12.Opens detailed information for the selected entry in the "Show Message" popup window.
13.Allows you to select the number of rows displayed on one page of the table.
14.Shows the range of displayed entries and the total number of entries.
15.Allows navigation to the first, previous, next, or last page of the table.

If a message has attached files, their names appear in the "Message" column. To view the attachments and download a file, select its name in the table or open "Show Message". CSV and XLSX exports include an attachments column with the names and GUIDs of attached files.

The functionality of the "Chat Audit Log" table allows for the following actions:

Deleting Old Messages#

To delete, the right Chat History: Delete is required. It is necessary to click Delete Old Messages, specify the cutoff date, and read the warning in the confirmation window. After confirmation, messages for the entire Account older than this date and their associated ratings will be deleted. They cannot be restored using the product.

Before deleting, check the date and, if necessary, export the required history. After the operation, refresh the table and check the result. The system audit retains the initiator, IP address, cutoff date, and the number of deleted messages.

Change Column Order The user can change the order of columns by dragging the selected column to the desired location.
Column Settings Through the column menu, options for pinning, auto-sizing width, and resetting settings are available.
Data Filtering The user can filter table entries by values in the selected column.
Column Visibility Settings The user can choose which columns to display in the table.

To change the order of columns, press and hold the left mouse button on the header of the selected column and move it to the desired location.

To open column settings, click in the header of the selected column.

To filter the contents of the "Chat Audit Log" table, click in the header of the desired column and select the tab in the opened window. For example, for the date column, the filter allows displaying messages within the dates specified by the user.

To adjust column visibility, click in the column header and select the tab in the opened window, then check the checkboxes next to the names of the columns that should be displayed in the table.

Search by chat GUID#

The Role permission "Chat audit log → Read" is required to view the log.

To find messages by chat GUID on the Chat audit log screen, the following steps are available:

  1. The menu icon can be clicked in the "Chat GUID" column header, then the filter tab can be selected.

  2. The filter uses the "Contains" condition. The full chat GUID or a fragment can be entered in the field below it. The table shows messages from matching chats in the current account. The search is case insensitive.

  3. The field in the "Chat GUID" column filter can be cleared to reset the search. Other filters remain active.

On a narrow screen, the view can be switched from "Cards" to "Table" before opening the column filter.

The search condition works together with filters for date, user, chat name, role and message. It searches the entire log, including other pages. If no messages match, the table is empty.

The "Export to CSV" and "Export to XLSX" buttons use the current filter. When individual rows are selected, only those records are exported.
