Publication and access groups#

A Process is published directly from the Designer to Orchestrator. Publication assigns the User groups that can access the workflow and creates the required Process and version records. Manual file export and separate record creation are not required.

The workflow records block versions, dependencies and input parameters. The web interface and API accept input data and support starting, pausing, continuing and ending Jobs. Control depends on the Role, execution state and selected executor.

Development, validation and production#

A Process version moves through development, validation and production environments. Promotion retains its block composition and versions. Connections and protected Assets are mapped separately for each environment. Publication history and the current-version selection restore a previously approved composition.

Check these conditions before promotion:

• Group and Role permissions in the target environment.
• Runtime, application and block-version compatibility.
• Input data and target environment Assets.
• Process validation results and the rollback procedure.
