User Action Recording#
During recording, user interface elements are highlighted with a red border, as shown in the screenshot below, ensuring the correct selection of the corresponding buttons, fields, and menus.

Business process blocks in the diagram created using the "Recording" tool differ from blocks added from the palette. The difference is the presence of the symbol
, hovering over which displays informative screenshots taken by the program at the moment of control element selection. A small cross indicates the point where the user clicked during recording.

During recording, highlight the area of the screen where text needs to be searched, that is, the area where recognition will take place. Limit the area with a red border that appears by holding down the right mouse button.
Text recognition is performed using built-in and external recognition modules:
| Module | Description |
|---|---|
| Tesseract OCR | A local OCR module for text recognition. It can be used without external cloud services. |
| Yandex Vision | Text recognition using the Yandex Vision service. |
| YandexHandwriting | Yandex module for handwriting recognition. |
| Microsoft OCR | Text recognition using Microsoft OCR service. |
| OCRSpace | Text recognition through the OCR.Space service. |
| ABBYY Cloud OCR | Cloud text recognition through ABBYY Cloud OCR. |
| ABBYY FineReader | Text recognition using ABBYY FineReader. |
| ContentReader | A module for extracting text from the contents of an image or document. |
The selected module affects the recognition method and quality. For some tasks, local OCR modules are better; for others, cloud services or specialized modules such as handwriting recognition are a better fit. After selecting a module, you can click "Refresh" to run recognition again with the new settings.
The following OCRs are available for connection:
- Tesseract OCR;
- ABBYY OCR;
- Microsoft OCR;
