# Robot Logging Configuration
**Log** — is a journal of Robot Work. Entries about errors and important warnings from Sherpa Designer automatically appear in the Log.
In the "Robot Log" tab in Sherpa Assistant, you can configure the logging of Robot actions. The following features and settings are available:
* automatic deletion of Robot Work Logs;
* the ability to specify an additional directory where Logs will also be recorded;
* adding a subdirectory named after the Work performed by the Robot;
* creating a Robot Work Log file with the current date in the name when the Robot file is launched.
To configure the automatic deletion of Robot Work Logs older than a certain number of days, specify the number of days in the text field . If you need to disable the automatic deletion of Robot Work Logs, enter the value `0` in this field.
To select an additional directory for recording Robot Work Logs, click the button .png?alt=media) and in the opened window, choose the desired folder on your computer.
To add a subdirectory named after the Work performed by the Robot, check the box next to the corresponding item:
To create a Robot Work Log file with the current date in the name when the Robot file is launched, check the box next to the corresponding item:
Robot Work Logs are saved in separate folders indicating the date of saving. Quick access to the software folder with logs is available at the path:\
`C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Sherpa RPA Data\Log`, where instead of ``, specify the User's name.
