# Proxy Configuration

## **System Proxy Settings**

To set the system proxy settings, activate the switch next to the corresponding name.

## **No Proxy**

To enable "No Proxy" mode, activate the switch next to the corresponding name.

## **Manual Proxy Settings**

To set manual proxy settings, activate the switch next to the corresponding name.

Then fill in the active fields "Address" and "Port" and specify "Type" by selecting it from the dropdown list. The following connection types are available:

* HTTP;
* Socks4;
* Socks4A;
* Socks5.

If necessary, you can add authorization to the manual proxy settings; to do this, check the box in the "Authorization" field and enter the username and password in the corresponding fields.

In the "Proxy" tab interface of Sherpa Assistant, a proxy settings check is available. To conduct this check, click the "Test Connection" button. After the check is completed, the system will display a window with the results.
