# Sherpa IDP (Template Designer)

Sherpa IDP (Template Creator) is a template creation tool (visual editor) and is an integral part of Sherpa RPA. The Template Creator is not tied to any cloud services and is included in the package.

### **1. Document Type Definition**

### **2. Automatic Template Selection from the List**

In cases where the Robot needs to create multiple templates for different document types (for example, "Goods Shipment Act" or "Service Provision Act"), the Template Creator automatically selects the most suitable template from the list:

* Correction of perspective and distortions of the scanned copy (photo) of the processed document.
* Zoning and segmentation of documents.
* Automatic search and markup of tables, including those without visible borders.
* Dynamic content binding.
* Checking for seals, signatures, handwritten texts.
* Extracting correct information from the scanned copy/photo of the document.

### **3. Processing Complex Documents**

The process of processing complex documents is as follows:

**Correction and Typing**

* Determining document types, parsing by types and pages;
* Correction of distortions and perspective;
* Zoning and segmentation.

**Preprocessing by the Template Creator**

* Most of the template is created automatically;
* Automatic selection of the appropriate template;
* Auto-detection of table boundaries.

**OCR Processing**

* Online or offline;
* 5 modules (engines) to choose from;
* External or built into the platform.

**Post-processing of the Document**

* ML & NLP;
* Man in the loop;
